Whitetail Hunting
Nothing gets the heart racing and blood pumping like the sight of a trophy whitetail deer on the 3-S Ranch! The terrain is conducive to excellent whitetail trophy production and hunting with gently rolling hills and large bottomlands full of acorn producing oak trees couple with carefully planned scendaros and clearings that provide plenty of cover, forage and space throughout the year. The management at 3-S is constantly improving the whitetail habitat to ensure our clients have the best chance to harvest their buck of a lifetime!
By employing a strict management program for the last ten years, it is not uncommon to see 10 to 15 bucks from 140 B&C to 250+ B&C on each of your hunts. With a buck to doe ratio of 1:1, you better be ready when you start rattling those horns on 3-S Ranch.
As part of our extensive management strategy, we are enrolled in the Level 3 MLDP program with Texas Parks and Wildlife, allowing us to hunt huge whitetails from October 1st thru the end of February. This program also allows our hunters to not use a personal tag when hunting with us and harvesting whitetails!
All of our hunts are fully guided and conducted from blinds, custom vehicles, or stalking.
